REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT)
Document ID: RFT-2026-001
Project Title: WATREEUP (Water by Plant Method) Prototype Fabrication
Issuing Organization: WATREEUP Initiative
Date of Issue: May 26, 2026
Closing Date: June 16, 2026
1. Executive Summary & Objective
The WATREEUP initiative is transitioning from a theoretical framework into an active hardware fabrication phase. We are seeking proposals from qualified scientific fabrication laboratories, precision engineers, and technical consultants to construct a 1-meter working prototype array.
The core objective of this prototype is to empirically verify a -5.2 MPa Matrix Potential utilizing a synthetic xylem array, proving the passive vertical transport of water without external fuel or electricity. This technology represents the "Fourth Pillar" of clean energy alongside solar, wind, and hydro, designed for optimal use in global resource security, agriculture, and humanitarian welfare.
2. Technical Specifications & Scope of Work
The selected partner will be responsible for the engineering, material sourcing, and assembly of the prototype array. The fabrication must achieve the following core parameters:
Synthetic Xylem Array: Design and manufacture a stable, synthetic porous structure capable of mimicking natural plant hydraulics and maintaining continuous negative pressure.
Pressure Threshold: The array must safely withstand and sustain a minimum matrix potential of -5.2 MPa without mechanical failure or cavitation.
Scale: A fully integrated, 1-meter vertical array.
Data Integration: Inclusion of precision sensors to accurately monitor, log, and verify matrix potential and fluid transit rates.
3. Intellectual Property & Governance
The WATREEUP project was registered globally in June 2022, with corresponding patent and trademark applications filed with the USPTO. The dates speak for themselves. These filings are defensive in nature, established strictly to prevent unauthorized use or abuse by outside entities, rather than to secure exclusive royalty rights. The technology is intended to remain a protected asset for global humanitarian benefit. The selected fabrication partner will be required to sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to receiving detailed schematics.
4. Submission Requirements
Prospective bidders must submit a comprehensive proposal package including:
Technical Approach: A detailed outline of the manufacturing methods, material selection (e.g., specialized ceramics or membranes), and testing protocols to achieve the required -5.2 MPa threshold.
Corporate Capabilities: Evidence of prior experience in microfluidics, high-pressure synthetic mediums, or biomimicry engineering.
Timeline & Cost Breakdown: A milestone-based schedule leading to delivery of the operational 1-meter array, along with an itemized budget.
5. Contact & Submission Process
All inquiries, technical clarifications, and final proposals must be submitted digitally.
